FileFast Privacy Policy

FileFast is built around keeping your files on your device. The app's search index — every filename, folder path, and (for the optional paid tier) extracted document text it works with — is built and stored entirely on your device. We never see it, and it is never uploaded anywhere.

The only information that reaches our servers is the account information created when you sign in with Google or Apple: your name, email address, and profile photo URL, plus a unique account identifier. We do not offer email/password sign-in, and we do not collect this information unless you choose to sign in.

Your account information is used solely to identify your account across devices and sessions. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising — FileFast doesn't show ads.

We rely on two third-party services to run the account system:

• Firebase Authentication (Google), for Google and Apple sign-in.
• Supabase, to store the account record (name, email, photo URL, account identifier) associated with your sign-in.

Neither service receives your file index, filenames, or file contents. Each has its own privacy policy governing how it handles the account data described above.

We retain your account information for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Delete Account page, or by emailing us. Your on-device search index is removed the moment you uninstall the app, or by revoking the app's folder/storage access.

FileFast is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Account information is protected using the security practices of our infrastructure providers (Firebase and Supabase), including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
